How to Reset Factory Defaults

If there is a problem or unusual response to the adjustment of a control setting, it may help to perform a factory default in order to restore the instrument to a known state.
In this example, the Vertical Scale setting reaches its limit at the wrong value. Here a 10X oscilloscope probe is used and should allow a setting of 100V/division, but is limited to 10V.
Factory Default steps:
- Press Save/Recall (on touch screen or the front panel) to display the menu
- Select Mode: Recall
- Select Type: Factory Default
- Press:
"Factory default setting recalled.”
